Reiki is an ancient Japanese practice of subtle energy healing, where “rei” means “universal” and “ki” means “life energy.” Practitioners use their hands to touch or hover over the body’s energy centers, helping to clear stagnant energy and promote healing. Recipients might experience various sensations or none at all, but the energy always targets the areas that need it. Reiki can offer numerous benefits, including pain and stress relief, deep relaxation, improved sleep, and enhanced spiritual growth.
