Join Lindsay Monal and Lucianna Silvestri in person for a 15 Hour Advanced Yin Yoga Level 2 Teacher Training!

This immersive training will be held on Friday and Saturday, October 18th & 19th, 2024, and is designed to give Yin Yoga Teachers a deeper understanding of the practice and refine their teaching skills.

In this advanced training program, we delve deeper into the subtle intricacies of Yin Yoga, expanding your understanding of the practice and empowering you to guide others with confidence and expertise.

In This Course, You Will Learn:

ADVANCED YIN POSES

Explore a rich repertoire of advanced Yin poses, designed to target deeper layers of connective tissue and promote profound release and relaxation. Learn how to adapt these poses to suit individual needs and physical limitations, ensuring a safe and effective practice for all students.

SUBTLE BODY

Deepen your awareness of the subtle body, including the chakras, meridians, and energetic anatomy. Discover how to incorporate subtle body practices into your Yin Yoga sessions, enhancing the transformative potential of each posture and guiding students towards a deeper experience of inner balance and harmony.

ADVANCED ANATOMY

Gain a comprehensive understanding of the anatomical principles underlying Yin Yoga. Explore the biomechanics of joint structure and function, the physiology of stretching and relaxation, and the latest research on fascia and connective tissue. Learn how to apply this knowledge to support students in accessing the full benefits of each pose.

GUIDED MEDITATION

Cultivate the art of guiding meditation within the context of Yin Yoga. Explore a variety of meditation techniques, including breath awareness, mindfulness, and visualization, and learn how to seamlessly integrate them into your classes to foster a deeper sense of presence, focus, and inner stillness.

YIN SEQUENCING

Master the art of crafting intelligent and effective Yin Yoga sequences. Explore the principles of energetic balancing, skeletal variation, and thematic sequencing, and learn how to weave together poses, transitions, and meditative elements to create transformative and harmonious practices.

PRACTICE TEACHING

This is a practical course focused on giving you lots of hands on experience exploring and teaching the postures and practice of yin yoga. You’ll have opportunities to explore each of the postures and get support on how to best structure classes, cue students, and create welcoming, and immersive yin yoga classes. 

Prerequisites

Completion of a foundational Yin Yoga teacher training program (such as Yin Level 1) or equivalent experience. Proficiency in basic yoga asanas and a commitment to personal practice are recommended.

If you are a Registered Yoga Teacher, this course is eligible for 15 hours of Continuing Education credits with the Yoga Alliance®, and both Lindsay and Lucianna are certified E-RYT 500, and YACEP® registered teachers.

Lindsay Monal

Lindsay is an ERYT-500 and YACEP® who completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at Hosh Yoga, and her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training at ISHTA Yoga in New York City. She is a Usui Reiki Master, and has completed additional training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Laughter Yoga, Sound Meditation, and Yoga for Trauma, and Addiction.

Lucianna Silvestri

Lucianna is an ERYT-500 and YACEP® who completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Bali with The Yoga People, and her 300hr Yoga Teacher Training with The School Yoga Institute in Peru. She has completed additional and extensive training in Yin Yoga, Fascia & The Nervous System, Pranayama, Yoga Nidra, and Yoga Philosophy.
